Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with 3PL providers, promoting our suite of logistics software & services, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and contributing to our overall business success.
Your daily responsibilities will include prospecting and identifying 3PLs that fit specific criteria. You will make tens of phone calls daily, working to connect and have conversations with key decision makers to build genuine relationships, build trust, and discover where iDrive can help them improve their business.
You will schedule follow up meetings, request needed information to provide quotes and analytics, and conduct customized presentations for the products that best fit the 3PL’s needs. You will learn about the 3PL’s decision making process to tactfully close deals and establish an appropriate onboarding timeline.
After the close and onboarding process, you will be assigned to the 3PLs as a Strategic Account Manager. This role involves helping the 3PL close deals using iDrive technology and transportation services.
You will be responsible to build a sales process with each 3PL under your management. You will conduct customer facing presentations often with members of the 3PL team, and without. You will follow a process similar to the one above by gathering needed information to provide quotes and analytics to the customer. You will work shoulder to shoulder with your managed 3PLs to close deals together.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential 3PL clients through research, networking, and industry events.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within 3PL organizations to understand their needs and challenges.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the benefits and value of iDrive Logistics solutions.
- Negotiation and Closing: Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position iDrive’s offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in CRM systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record in outside sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Skills in pipeline management and crafting meaningful follow up emails and phone calls.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce logistics and 3PL operations and challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales goals.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
